CHRIS ANDREW FFARCS MRCPsych

Founder of Deep Release

Chris trained as a medical doctor and practised in the fields of General Medicine, Anaesthetics, General Practice, Child Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry before setting up a private practice in London in 1984. As a committed Christian he sought to combine his medical and psychological understanding with spiritual insight. His research brought him into contact with Dr Frank Lake and his interest in pre-and peri-natal trauma.

Chris worked for some time with Wholeness Through Christ, then began to run training courses in the 1980s at Bedford and Scargill House in Yorkshire. His teaching covered areas such as Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Inner Healing and Primal Integration Therapy, along with spiritual dynamics. He and Pauline went on to develop Deep Release in the 1990s.

Chris currently runs a private practice in London and Essex and is a Consultant Psychotherapist for the NHS. He is a Supervisor and Life Coach and teaches on a number of Deep Release training courses, including Mental Health Issues, Coaching, Toxic Relationships and Principles & Practice of Deep Release. He is author of the Deep Release publications, A Fundamental Model towards Healing & Wholeness, Passionate Prayer and Relationships: Who Needs Them? Part II - From War To Peace.
