Working Creatively with the Inner Child in Counselling Weekend

In April 2024 we are dedicating a whole weekend to the principles and practice of working with the Inner Child.

The course will include:

• A theoretical basis for Inner Child work (in our usual colourful and interactive training style!), including how different models of counselling encourage us to work with aspects of self
• Guidance as to how to how to help clients understand and work with their infant, child and teenage self 
• Key creative interventions which enable clients to explore how the child self influences their self-concept and relationships
• Demonstrations by the DR team, followed by time to practise in small groups
• Opportunities for questions and specific coaching with the small groups
• A panel session where all the facilitators will answer questions submitted throughout the weekend, sharing their own experiences and insights
• Space to balance the rich learning environment with relaxation and reflection

We’ll be based at Moor Hall, situated in the stunning Berkshire countryside, where good food and relaxation awaits you in a warm atmosphere of learning and friendship, while clocking up 11 hours of CPD!
