Applying for a Bursary
FAQs – Deep Release Bursary Fund (charity no. 1112125)
How do I start the bursary application process?
First, you’ll need to book your place and pay the deposit (if for any reason we’re not able to offer you a bursary place, your deposit will be fully refunded). Once that’s done, our administrator will contact you with a short bursary form to complete.
How much bursary support can I apply for?
If your application is approved and funds are available, you may receive up to £175 toward the cost of the Healing Dance: TA & Gestalt Together conference. This brings your total fee to £350, or £301 once your £49 deposit has been paid.
Are bursary places means-tested?
No. Our bursary places aren’t means-tested. The process is simple and designed to keep our training as accessible as possible.
What’s included in the bursary form?
The form asks for:
-
Your basic contact details
-
A few brief details about why you’re applying
-
The name and contact number of someone who can recommend you (such as a supervisor, manager, colleague, or someone who knows your work or situation).
How do you decide who receives a bursary?
Once we receive your form, we review it and are usually able to offer a lower-cost place. As the process isn’t means-tested, we focus more on need and circumstances than financial documentation.
Can anyone apply?
Yes – if cost is a barrier, please feel free to apply. We genuinely want to support people to access the training wherever we can.
Can we be of further help?
