What is personal data?

  • Personal data is information that allows for the identification of a living person, for example your name, address and contact information (including email address and phone number).
  • It may also include other relevant information to help us provide and improve our services to you, such as where you are currently training if you are a student, or personal information about your history and experience when applying for a bursary for a training course or counselling grant or making a donation, either one off or by standing order. If you are supplying the details of other people of your application please ensure you have their permission first.

 

How is my personal data processed?

  • We collect personal information about you when you make an enquiry, donation or submit an application via www.deeprelease.org.uk, by email, phone, in writing or face to face, or through completing a Google docs form with us.
  • This processing is necessary because there is a legitimate interest to do so, for example, you make an application to the fund and we process your details to respond to you.
  • Your website usage information is also collected using cookies (see cookies section below).

Who will my personal information be shared with?

  • Your personal information may be shared with third party organisations, as follows
    • Deep Release Ltd – to enable us to book you onto a course you have applied for a bursary for.
    • PACT Ltd- to enable us to book you onto a Regional Training Group or Group Supervision you have applied for a bursary for.
    • IT support services (Anthian Computer Systems Ltd, Kit Eglinton and Jeremy Acott), in order to assist with the smooth running of our website and computer operations.
    • Accounting services (Haines Watts) for the legal keeping and processing of our accounting records.
    • Your payment information is also securely kept on PayPal’s online platform and bank transfers and cheques are recorded in our Lloyds Bank account statements and, where appropriate, bank and cheque books.
    • HMRC – to claim Gift Aid (where you have completed a declaration)

Will I receive marketing communications from you?

  • If you are a regular giver to the bursary fund, we expect you may like to be kept updated on the fund and how it supports Deep Release training and counselling, therefore we may very occasionally contact you to thank you for your continued support, to let you know how the charity is progressing and if needed, to ask if you would consider increasing your support.
  • We will not sell or share your details with other companies for marketing purposes.

What if I don’t want to receive such communications?

  • Please contact us and we will promptly delete your information from our mailing database as requested.
