I mainly work as a Person Centred Counsellor, but also use some other modalities, including creative arts in many different ways if you wish to use them. How we work together will be different for each person and will depend on what suits you. For many of us, finding the words can sometimes be difficult, or even seem impossible. Using creative arts in therapy can be an alternative way of expression and communication for some people.
Whichever way you prefer to explore, I aim to create a space for you to feel comfortable with this exploration. I’ve been described by others as open minded and non-judgemental, compassionate and caring, which I hope helps you to feel comfortable in this exploration.
I work with both adults and young people. I am happy to work long term and also in a specific time-limited way if preferred. This work can be in person, online or by telephone.I have a Foundation Degree in Counselling which was done as a top up after first completing Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 CPCAB courses. I’ve since gone on to teach CPCAB courses and am currently teaching on the Level 4 and Level 5 courses.
I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
