I seek to create a safe therapeutic space where you can feel accepted and heard and in so doing enable you to feel free to explore your feelings and find a way forward.
I have experience working with bereavement and loss as well as abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, faith and cultural issues, low confidence and self-esteem issues. I work with adults as well as young people, but have a special interest in working with older teens and young adults.
I am in private practice and work as an integrative counsellor. I may offer to use creative interventions if appropriate to your needs.
I have previously worked with Pilgrims Hall counselling services and volunteered with Saint Francis Hospice as a bereavement counsellor.
I have a Level 5 certificate in Integrating Creative Interventions for Counsellors and am on the PSA (Professional Standards Authority) register as a Member of the ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors).
