Road-tested at the recent Counsellors Together weekend, this new way of working will be expanded in today’s training. We will explore what is still standing after challenging life events, exploring the strengths we have gained. We will look at the rubble and ruins, and consider what was spoiled, damaged or lost. We dig down into the hidden layers of the past and search for buried treasure.
A fascinating day to see how these key ways of working weave together. Transactional Analysis gives us a language for understanding relationships… the scripts, decisions, the way we learnt to be when we were small.
Gestalt invites us into the immediacy of the experience… what is happening right here, right now, in the counsellor, in the client.
